The Power of 3:1:1
Our research led us to a vital insight: The role of essential skin lipids – ceramide, cholesterol, and free fatty acids – in maintaining a healthy skin barrier. More importantly, we discovered that the ratio of these lipids was key.
This resulted in our breakthrough 3:1:1 ratio of ceramide, cholesterol, and free fatty acids. This clinically-proven ratio mirrors the natural composition of a healthy skin barrier, enabling our formulations to effectively rebuild and restore what is lost in dry, irritated, and eczema-prone skin. This ceramide-dominant science became the cornerstone of every Ceradan® product.
